Step back in time and enjoy an evening of nostalgia as we re-visit the Victorian Era-
A more refined, genteel time. This will be a refreshing time to spend with your special lady or gentleman and your special friends as you will step lively to the music of Celtaire String Band and enjoy the Dance Mistress, Ms. J’Nean Henderson as she calls your favorite dances.
You will see how The Victorians adapted the fashions of the day to The Ballroom.
The Texas Victorian Dancers will demonstrate the dances that were popular at that time.
Please join us and make a memory as we re-create the ambience of the 19^thcentury ballroom.
A southern Belle Debutante presentation will be held. Requirements to become a Belle are, 13 to 21 years of age, Belles are to wear white or off white ball gown (19^th century preferred), have a male escort, and fill out application as requested. Belle's tickets will be paid for.
The proceeds from the ball will go to enhance the Historic District. In order to preserve the history of the area, provide brochures for the unique shops, museums, homes and buildings in the district.
